How we land on a rating
People ask what a 4.5 means on Moss Forge. The honest answer: it's how much we'd recommend the game to a friend after really playing it.
We weigh a few things — how it controls, whether it respects your time, how well it works offline, and that harder-to-measure quality of whether we wanted to keep playing.
Numbers are subjective, and we don't pretend otherwise. Two of us might disagree on the same game, and the review usually says so.
If a rating feels off to you after playing, that's fine. Our goal is to describe a game well enough that you can decide for yourself, not to hand down a verdict.
