Legends of Slots

Legends of Slots surprised me. I expected a throwaway tap game and instead got something weirdly cozy. You spin reels of illustrated symbols — swords, crowns, little dragons — and matching sets unlock pieces of a storybook that fills out as you play. It's all offline, so I ran through most of it on a flight.

The controls are as simple as it gets: one tap to spin, swipe to browse the collection screen. What kept me going was the art and the sense of a tiny saga building up. Each completed set adds a short illustrated scene, and I genuinely wanted to see the next one.

It's a lightweight game you dip into for five minutes at a time, and it respects that. No forced waiting, no nagging. I'd call it comfort food rather than a deep game, and that's fine by me.
